TechLogs Online operates the website at https://techlogs.online and it's associated subdomains. This page informs you of the policies that TechLogs Online follows regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data. By using TechLogs Online on any platform - be it in a web browser, TechLogs' mobile app or by any other means, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service.

The following terminology applies to these terms of service:

    refers to you, the person who may user this website in compliance with the terms set in this document.
  • “TechLogs”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”:
    refers to TechLogs Online and it's staff.
  • “Our platform”:
    refers to our software, user interface and any applications we produce that allow you to access it.
  • “3rd party”:
    refers to organizations or businesses that are completely external to TechLogs Online.

What does TechLogs Online Do?

TechLogs Online is a web app designed to allow for easy record-keeping. It allows users, provided that they have full consent to do so, to keep detailed and accurate logs of every service they do, with the aim of increasing the fluidity of their work.

TechLogs account holders, will be able to access the information you send them through our service. Almost all of the information stored using TechLogs in this way is encrypted, and securely stored on our servers. We feel that we should point out though, that although TechLogs will never share your personal information, it's important to remember that the account holder that you are dealing with does have access to it, and so it may be spread or leaked through them, or insecurities to do with the way that they operate that are outside of TechLogs' control.

Because of this, as a user of one of these repair technician's/organisations, please make sure that they are trustworthy before opting to share your information with them. As a technician using Techlogs Online, make sure that you respect the needs of your customers and only record their information using our service if you have that customer's full consent to do so.

TechLogs Online will not be held responsible for any damages caused by failure to acquire consent from any individual whos personal information is stored using our service.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect several different types of data which are necessary for TechLogs to function. We DO NOT SHARE your data with any third party. Our service allows for the storage of many people's information, which may be used to contact or identify them personally: e.g. "personal data". This can include, but is not limited to a person's:

  • Phone Number(s)
  • Postal Address
  • Photographs
  • General Logbook Contents*

*Technicians that have an account with us are free to create logbooks and add information to those logbooks. These logbooks will normally be about services that they provide for their customers, but can contain any any written words and/or photographs they wish to use.

Usage Data, Tracking and Cookies

We may also collect information that the device you are using to view our service, sends while you are using TechLogs. This is referred to as: "Usage Data".

This can include, but is not limited to:
  • Your IP address (Internet Protocol Address)
  • Your browser information, e.g. type, version, features
  • Visited pages within our service
  • Date and time of your visit
  • Mobile operating system

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and retain certain information.
